This auto warranty company does not want to pay for covered parts and work that is covered under the warranty bait and switch sales and misleading and leaving out info. At time of sale from us fidelis

After being contacted by us fidelis the sales part of the warranty. I was told that all my drive train and other parts of the truck would be covered with no deductions. What they did not tell me is that there was definitions in the warranty that the warranty company could and would use in order to not pay for all covered parts and repairs.

Such as the —on page 8—the last page— incidental & consequential damage: damage occurring as a result of the breakdown of a covered or non-covered component.

Page 6— under exclusions: number 5.incidental and consequential damage are not covered.

So i had a transmission brake down. After paying for aprox. 6 months on this warranty.

After have it the truck towed to a dealer and finding out after 5 days that they did not break down and repair transmissions and only replaced it with a rebuilt one. I had to take it to a transmission shop. Because the warranty would not cover a replacement transmission.

After having it approved by the warranty company it was fixed. However they did not cover the other parts and repairs which in the warranty should have been covered and repaired and all paid for by the warranty coverage. They would only pay less than 1/3 of the total amount of the bill. We had to pay over 2k for the repair.
Then a new twist! They the warranty company would not pay the transmission shop the balance unless i signed a paper agreeing not to cancel my payments on the warranty. I did not want to sign for something i had already agreed to by phone. So the warranty company would not pay the repair shop.

I am going to sign the paper so the repair shop gets their money instead of putting them though having to go to court to get their money.

I am going to ad to the paper to protect myself first. Then if the warranty company does not want to pay. And there should not be any reason for that. The repair shop will have to take them to court.

This is just another hidden thing they have done nothing in writhing. Also i found out 2 days before the time period was to run out on the claim. Of which i was unaware of nothing in writhing once again. That it had to be summited by the repair shop. Otherwise i was just out of luck! They did get it in on time.

The part the warranty company did pay for was covered but it is not rare for the part to break according to the transmission shop and the dealer for the truck. But this is what they are doing in order to not pay for all the covered repairs under the warranty. We are going to take this to court if they do not pay for the covered repairs.

I strongly suggest to anyone wanting to buy an after market auto repair warranty to either look else were or not buy one at all from any company selling this product until we are all protected by laws from these bait and switch people.

Bottom line. Warning! Warning! Warning!

Don't do business with them. You'll be sorry if you do!

We are going to report to any and all fed. Agencies, state and any thing else to let people know about this. The public needs to beware! The public needs to be protected for these sort of companies.

If you buy into this warranty business you will be sorry for it after that.

Misleading, vague in statements both in writhing a verbal sales and statements.

As far as i am concerned it is a scam!
