Texas Auto Liquidators
Fraud, False Advertisement, Rediculous Deale

I recently found out about a truck this company had listed on ebay and there website. I researched this truck as much as possible, what I didnt do is research the company. It turned out to be a big mistake

I started talking with greg from Texas Auto roughly 2 weeks ago and tried to aquire as much information from him that i could on this truck. Everytime I taked with him he assured me this truck was in excellent condition and was an awesome truck. Well i get thing in order to head to texas and i rented a car for a one way trip from ky to Arlington last friday. I called greg on friday just to ask if there was anything on this truck that would surprise me other than the small dent on the bumper, that way i could be prepared when i got there. Well i drove all night and made it into arlington around 8:00 am sat. I called greg to tell him i was there and if he could come meet me at the dealership we could get things going so i could drive the truck.

Well when we pulled up i could see the back of the truck from the otherside of the fence, I immediately noticed a rather large dent on the driver side door along with scratches all over the truck that looked like a dog had jumped on it. The passenger side was the same. Small dent everywhere and scratches up and down the truck. At this point im frustrated but i figd i could get them to subtract the cost of repair for it from the price. Well after i waited there for an hour and a half or so i noticed some guys pull into there back gate, they were the mechanics for Texas Auto liquidators. They either couldnt speak english or didnt want to talk to me when i was asking them questions but none the less they let me in the gate to take a closer look at the truck.

The first thing i see is a very large dent in the hood that looked like some one had dropped a 2x4 on it and the bumber was bent and not aligned. The overall appearnce of the truck looked well from 30 feet away but up close it looked like a mess. There "independant" inspection report said the hood was in good shap as well as the rest of the truck!

Finally around 11 i get to drive the truck and when i try to start the truck it almost doesnt start! I get it going and put it in gear and hear a u joint clunk hinting it needs new u joints, Once i get the truck rolling it sways side to side and jerks around at 4 mph. At 40 mph its the worst riding truck Ive ever rode in! I noticed these problems and never even popped the hood.
Vertical links bent
Sway bar worn out
steering stabilizer wore out
Ball joints wore out
Wheel bearings wore out
Major exhaust leak like it was missing a complete gasket
Injectors going down
Cp3 injection pump going down
Transmission slipping
And this was all noticed on a 2 mile test drive without even popping the hood!

I returned to the dealer and handed the guy the keys and he said "howd u like it" I told him everything that was wrong with it and he said they could pull some used parts off of other trucks and fix it that day. I told him i didnt drive 800 miles overnight to get a truck that they were going to have to repair the day i got it. I asked for the copy of my drivers liscense back and i left.

I contacted George the GM of the dealer and requested they refund me back my travel expenses, roughly $600 In renting a car and hotel for one night as well as gas. He said he couldnt do that but he could get the truck fixed entirely and i could come back and get it. I kindly turned that down and his exact words were "maybe your just one of the smarter customers we had that turned the vehicle down instead od taking it home" I asked him how theyve been in business so long and he said we are a wholesale dealer and some people like to buy trucks that arent in perfect condition. I said this truck was in horrible condition but the Independant inspection report said it was in good condition for everyfield. He said sir some peoples version of good is different than others!

Well I learned my lesson and Ive shared my experience with everone i can possible tell. If your thinking of buying a car from there take this advice from me. Every car that they have on there lot is not wasting your time, and money with! There was another truck that they had there that i was interested in. It too had a good inspection report! It was in worse shape than the one i was looking at!
