Over a 23 month period HP Performance ran my credit card for $19,000.00. I have had my car back less than a year and the $19K motor has to be replaced. I paid for a built motor that was supposed to come from VT Engines and I am now finding out I bought a rebuilt 03 Cobra motor. The motor was rebuilt by Thumper Performance. Has had a knocking in it since I got it back. Took it in and this so called rebuild job is not a good one.
I also paid for a Spec twin Disc and the car has a Centerforce. I paid for long tube ceramic headers and matching xpipe and have non ceramic that are rusted beyond repair. The cams are not upgraded, the injectors still stock.
I also paid for SCT tuner and dyno. I do not have a tuner, was told the car was flashed with SCT and I have no idea if it was on the Dyno.
When I dropped the car off I made it clear I didnot want Sean working on my car. I was told that only Jason would do the work. Tony and Jason both said Jason did the work. Since then I have read some of the stuff out here and found that Jason has worked on a number of cars that have repair issues after being returned to the customers.
I am in no way accusing but when patterns form they speak for themselves. I just want to know if anyone else has issues with these guys.
This is the same company that used to be Hocus Pocus and the same customer issues were there. Each new customer pays for the parts to be paid on old customers. Old customers paid for parts of older customers. I will not pay for another customers parts.
