This company is a complete joke. I was shipping my car from California to Texas. They told me it would cost a TOTAL of $594.00. I paid them a $200.00 deposit over the phone with a credit card. I was not in a rush to ship my car to Texas because I have a 2nd vehicle and was in no hurry to get this car. I just wanted to cheapest price possible. Well the driver called me 2 days later and said he was picking up my car. I thought, "Wow, that was fast. I guess my location just happened to fit his schedule". The car arrived 3-4 days later in Texas and the driver calls my dad who was picking up the car and says he needs $594.00 money order in order for the car to be dropped off. We told the driver that we already paid the $200.00 deposit and that we should only owe the remainder of $394.00. He basically said that was something we needed to handle with Flofield Inc because he was contracted through them and that they were the broker. The driver said that if we don't pay him the $594.00 today then he was taking the car back to California. When I called Flofield Inc to complain and see what was going on - they told me that they were charging me the extra $200.00 for a "rush delivery" service. I NEVER asked for a rush delivery service. They did that on their own and charged me for it. The man and woman I spoke to are completely rude. The man yelled at me several times, wouldn't let me speak and even hung up on me! I have proof of my signed contract and the copy of the money order. This was a joke and a scam. He also promised a gas card which I doubt I will ever see. I have disputed this fee with my credit card company and they will be investigating this. It's more the principle of the whole thing. I like honesty. If my quote had been higher to begin with, I most likely would have still used the company. But to lie to customers in order to get their money is wrong. I hope they go out of business. I hope that people research this company in the future. Their terrible customer service skills and dishonesty will come back to haunt them.
