Store Manager 2 trucks got lifted... 2 horrible experiences!

I brought my work truck (a Toyota Tundra) into the Marietta 4wheelparts location to look at new shocks. I was sold on a 3.5 inch coilover adjustable lift for the front end. I asked if this would cause any issues and asked if I would need to change anything in the front end... They said no. I had them order blocks for the rear end to level the truck. Bought new rims and BFG all-terrains at the same time. I asked them how long it would take considering it was a work truck and they said come back after 2 days. I came back 2 days later after not receiving a phone call that was promised if there was an issue and the truck wasn't ready. I own my business and time is money. They told me to come back tomorrow morning to get the truck. I asked if I should call first and they said "no it will be ready." I was there when they opened and guess what? No truck. When the truck was finally finished 4 days late I drove to my work site to catch up on the work that had been delayed all week. On my way to pick up materials I jumped on the highway... Very bad stability issues presented themselves. The truck was toed-in very badly! Tundras are know for driving like a car and this was like driving a tractor down the road at 70mph. Every wind gust blew me into other lanes and passing trucks was white knuckle. I went into 4wheelparts and they said the camber bolt was frozen on the truck... They had charged me for an alignment that they didn't do. They said I needed to buy a new cam-bolt and they could fix it. I took the truck to Contractor tire and they had no problems aligning the truck. I talked to the "store manager" about the issue and he said he would look into it.

I had my 04 Jeep Wrangler in around the same time for a 3.5 inch suspension Rubicon Express lift kit install, tires, gearing, limited slip in the rear and front, bought bumpers and a winch. I was told it would take a week to do the whole install... Well, it didn't. It took almost 3 weeks to get my Jeep back. I told them it would be my sales vehicle and it would be on the street more than not. They recommended a short arm suspension to me... I needed a long arm (better on road performance) and the limited slip in the front pulled like hell to the left. After the extended install, they had drilled through my radiator bottle which they replaced off another Jeep that was being serviced.installed my radiator incorrectly which almost fell out on the street when I heard it rattling under the hood. Had horrible vibrations... Had to buy a slip yoke eliminator to remedy the issue. The transmission was grinding... Found out the service tech was driving it home at night to "test it" which really pissed me off! They said the transmission issues were there before they worked on the Jeep (it had 32,000 miles on it and it was perfect when I dropped it off. I heard them say the same crap to another guy who had a lift installed recently) They melted the center console and the front carpet and returned it to me that way! Like I wouldn't notice! I asked for them to replace the carpet and to forget the console because it wasn't that noticeable. They said they would call when it came in... They called me a year later and the carpet wasn't even fitted for a jeep! It was in huge squares that needed to formed and cut by an installer and it was a poor grade of carpet! The truck was never aligned just like the Tundra (yes, I paid for an alignment) again. Contractor Tire fixed the alignment issues again. They did return the limited slip free of charge and I purchased an OX locker for the front. The gears seem to have been installed correctly also... Although the four wheel drive kept popping out the first time I hit the trail and they adjusted that also. The worse part of it all was that the store manager kept telling me it wasn't his problem and acted very combative with me! I will never give this company $1 from my pocket ever again. I would recommend anyone looking for a shop to do a lift on their truck to go anywhere other than the Marietta 4WheelParts. A muffler shop would probably be a safer bet!
