Careless and non-noticeable repairs. The business that doesnt give a dam

I had my lower ball-joints replaced on my 1997 Blazer in December. Tony Kwiatt was my Service Advisor and Dan was the Technician. I had a fair repair invoice, so this isn't a rip-off and that's the most important issue I want to bring to everybody's attention, I've had repairs done by this dealership (in and out of warranty) and have been treated fairly until this repair.

Dan installed the new lower ball-joints and claimed after that he was having problems aligning the front end, but gave him credit for effortlessly not giving up and after two days he got it aligned. Well, after that a clunking noise was appearing on the front passenger side brought it back in and had them look at it and they said they couldn't find anything wrong. Then after that they fixed my plugged up coolant system and flushed all the drivetrain fluids and changed the tranfer case switch.

In March Merlin's Muffler changed my Pittman Arm and then in April I took it to Antioch Tire to get it aligned and the technician stated that the passenger lower ball-joint was bad. I moved to Florida in May and called GM to tell them that my lower ball joints were bad and they contacted Rockenbach and they said in nice words tough luck. Well, in August I recieved a recall notice on my upper ball-joints to have them replaced at no charge and an alignment also. The dealer in Florida said they no problems aligning it, so I stopped worrying.

Then in August I had another alignment done and it seemed fine. Then in April I moved to Wisconsin and had new tires installed at Tire Plus and they informed me that my passenger side lower ball-joint was bad, so I had my friend help change both lower ball-joints and we discovered when we got to the left side that the four mounting screws for the ball-joint were never secured and the ball joint was floating in the control arm.

I saved the part Rockenbach installed and called GM and they once again contacted Rockenbach and they deny that I ever brought it back complaining about the clunking noise and they didn't even want to rectify this or not even an apology. Strange, the clunking noise is gone and so is my business with Rockenbach. Just think that was a road hazard and I have two children that ride in that vehicle. I hope one day that they read this and either apologize or do something to keep my business or both.
