Delivery person - Exceptional service from drive

On New Years Eve, I ordered a Dominos new vegetarian sandwich and pizza and was told 30 - 40 minutes delivery. I am not sure of the drivers name but maybe you can share with him these comments, My receipt says 10:23 pm and ticket number is 292286. I just have to say that now only was the driver at my house in 20 minutes, but he was the nicest, most friendly delivery person I have ever had from the store. Most of them just hand you the pizza, grab the money and go. He had me sign the receipt and explained that they had undercharged the credit card because the person who took the order forgot to add the delivery charge so I was given a second receipt for $1.59 that they needed cash for. I do not normally have alot of cash on me, so I told the driver I did not know if I had the cash to hold on and let me look. He said no problem, it was their mistake and that if I didnt have it he would pay it for me. I said no, absoulutely not, so I did find $3.00 in cash and another $3.00 or so in change. I gave him all of this in addition to the tip already on the credit card and if I would of had $20.00 I would of tipped him more just because he was nice, helpful and said he would take care of it. He wished my a Happy New Year. How many employees do you know that would offer out of their own pockets to give exceptional customer service by paying for the person who took the orders screw up? I believe this is rare. The order taker seemed pre-occupied when I was placing the order, i had to repeat 2 times what I wanted and then they told me the total and then said oh no its 50 cents more because of the ranch dressing you ordered. I questioned her about the charge and she said condiments were extra. I already had the feeling, that perhaps I needed to find another pizza place to order from with all these extra charges, and then to have the driver say, oh they forgot to charge you the delivery fee so you also owe extra that they did not put on your card was about enough to push me over the edge and tell Dominos to keep their pizza. But the way the driver handled this and himself, turned this negative experience into a positive one and i will order again from Dominos. Hopefully the next driver will be as plesant.
