They are refusing to pay for my repairs to my ca

I am writing this email to find out the status of my claim filed by my mechanic on 3Apr09. He first got word from you that I couldn't file a claim because there were too many miles on my vehicle. After he contacted me, I in turned contacted you and I was told by Melissa that my claim would not be accepted because I still had 5 days left on my "grace period". After debuting this with her, she then stated I had one day left on my grace period and there was no one I could take to and no one to help me. I kept trying to tell her this was unfair and it couldn't be true, but to no avail. I then contacted my mechanic and told him what I was told, he asked me to hold on and then he returned to the phone and told me that there was an error made on his shop's part because he had towed to different Jaquar's and the tow date that he gave them for mine was incorrect. He apologized and stated he would contact the company straighten everything out. He later phoned me back and stated that he spoke with a representative and they informed him to fax the tow receipt to them and he had done that. This all took place on 6Apr09.

After I had not heard from you, I contacted you again on 9Apr09 only to be informed by you that because the tow receipt was handwritten, it was not acceptable. When asked why hadn't someone contacted my about this, I was told because I had called before. I stated that I have never seen a computerized tow receipt unless you were actually at the owner's shop. I am in the military and stationed in Montgomery, AL, Southlake Brake and Tire is the company that I have been dealing with since I purchased the car because I am from Atlanta, GA which where he is located. I called him and he came and towed my car. There was no computer or printer there, he hand wrote the receipt. Still your company would not accept that and told me that he had to send a computerized receipt because he stated that he towed the car on one date and the receipt stated another date. However, you never mentioned (nor probably did not log it either) that he took responsibility for the date error when he called and was informed to fax the receipt. Now, you know like I know that a computer generated receipt will print the current date on it. So, he is putting a sentence on the receipt stating that the original receipt was handwritten but your office requested a computerized one. So, if you still refuse to honor your warranty I will be forced to take legal action against you.

I am a soldier in the United States Army and find it disgusting that I have spent 31 years of my life defending people like you. I bought this policy in good faith because I am retiring soon and wanted the peace of mind and if this was me not paying I would be receiving harassing phone calls all times of day and night and would have this on my credit report. I am asking you to do the right thing. I have already filed a compliant with the better business bureau. This has been on going since the 1st of April, I have been renting cars since then. Please do the right thing and honor your warranty. This has turned into a nightmare!!!
