I was sold a extended warranty for my vehicle over the phone. The sales person Roy Aston failed to tell me a couple of things when selling me the Warranty. 1. That he was including a what they call "Bonus Package" which I didn't ask for or again told about. Which included Magnets you put in your oil filter when you get a oil change. Which by the way again you have to do regardless within 30 days of the warranty again wasn't told about. So I buy the warranty of the 6th of March and he says I have 30 days to review the coverage & if I want to cancel I can do so within 30 days. He says he's mailing the warranty out right away for my review and I say fine. So 1 week goes by and I haven't seen anything then another week goes by again nothing. So, I call him and ask where is my warranty info I haven't received anything. He's says he will send it out right away. Meanwhile, keep in mind I have 30 days to review this. I get the warranty finally on the 19th of March. So, Take a couple of days and review the warranty and also ask my Mechanic if this is a good warranty and he wasn't very thrilled. But, that wasn't the deciding factor for me. The deciding factor was getting Magnets I didn't order or was even told about and the biggest upset was that there was a $75.00 Restocking fee if I canceled the warranty. Which I was never told about either by the sales person. Please like I would agree to pay $75.00 for Magnets "Get Real" Also, the Warranty states I can't use the warranty for the first 90 days or first 1000 miles. Now, this is my second car and I don't even put a 1000 miles on it a year. I rarely used it. So, in essence I would be paying for a warranty I couldn't use for at least a year. There were many other questionable items on the warranty as well. So, I decided this wasn't for me and I was really angry about the magnets. So I called them and called them and called them each time speaking to someone who said you have to speak too customer service and each time I called I got voicemail. 3 days later I get a call from a Cass Wilson he said he's the Customer Service Manager and starts by asking I want to cancel. So, I start by telling about the Magnets which he brushed off quickly then I go into the specifics about the warranty which basically he brushed off as well. So, he tells me to mail everything back with the contract at my expense and they will refund me $25.00 of my $100.00 deposit. I said I would be happy to mail everything back but I want my deposit in full. I wasn't told by the salesman about the magnets or the $75.00 restocking fee until I had the actual warranty in hand and told him again why should I not get my downpayment in full when I can't use the warranty. He refused to give me anything but $25.00 of my deposit and said he didn't care what I thought he then started yelling at me and I told him to stop yelling at me. He told me I was a bad customer and that I shouldn't have sit on this for 3 weeks which I didn't I tried to explain that I didn't receive my warranty package for 2 weels but he didn"t want to hear it. Then he started getting very beligerant (Hope that the right spelling) with me and said he wouldn't give me my deposit back in full and made many unneccessary comments that went something like this " what Mark do you need a hug some lovin I make your day" which I was shocked by and kinda really don't know how to take that comment if he meant it like sarcastically or sarcastically but with as a insult to as too my sexuality. Anyway, he was vulgar and then I had some choice words I said in return (nothing about his sexuality I can assure you I wouldn't do that too anyone) no matter how much of a putts they are. So then he also kept saying to me how he had the support of my Attorney General to do business here and that I could go complain to him. The first smart thing this man actually said in the conversation. I told him if he wouldn't give me my downpayment back in full that I would get it back as I paid with Visa and my visa is protected by these deceptive practices and that I would also contact my bank and get my downpayment back that way. He threated me that he would fight it and fight it by sending them the contract and I hope he does send them the contract then I will send them copies of my phone records, actual envelope the warranty came in w / magnets which has the date of March 19 and my documentation of when down on the day of the sale and the day I tried to cancel. I also ask Cass Wilson who his supperior was he said the owner of the company I asked who that was and he told me it was none of my business and I told him that was a bunch of crap and that it should be public knowledge. I asked him again he again said it was none of my business. I told him it was my business you have my money and I told him the customer service I been receiving was the worst I experienced and I want himor her to know. He again told me to complain to the California Attorney Generals office. So, thanks Cass Wilson I will. I will fight this not so much for the $100.00 but the principle and I don't want other people too fall into this trap. So now I will have to fill out forms to my bank, Visa & write complaint letters to the Attornay General and BBB and find out who the owner is of this company. My friend works in Insurance maybe he can find out or may the BBB or Attorney Generals Office will know too. Right now I am so angry I would love to sue but I would like to see how many complaints there are with this company first. So, Everyone Be aware of this company and Cass Wilson these people will take your money gladly and then treat you badly too.
