My father works for Conway Express in Sherman. He was told that they were taking away vacation - just for a year. My father has worked hard for this company for many years and has earned all of his weeks of vacation. Truck drivers are the backbone of this country. You take away their deliveries and you can kiss any chance of the economy getting better. They don't pay the drivers enough. The corporate hounds can make hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the drivers don't bring home that much. How about cutting the corporate people down to the same wages/salary as the drivers and letting everyone keep their vacation. That works for the whole nation as well. Take those fat cats and big whigs making hundreds of thousands of dollars and give them 60 to 70 thousand a year. Do it to congress - the president - everyone. Half the people in washington don't pay rent, electricty, or even their own food. Why chop our nation down at the knees? Cut the silver lining from the upper class first - the ones who work less than or equal to forty hours a week - leave those that work over sixty alone. I realize that some of this rambles, but come on it has to stop somewhere.
