US Fidelis (and it's many other names) appears to be a vaild extended warranty company. They happily offer you bumper-to-bumper coverage for around $3000.
When you try to make a claim, the car dealerships have never heard of them. They cannot reach them for hours and when they do, it's only to be told the vehicle must be disassembled and left to wait for an adjustor.
Then, when the angry customer calls, they get put on hold for hours, transferred and disconnected repeatedly. That is when you start to realize the scam and want your money back. They offer you discounts and reassurances, making you doubt the word of the dealer.
You return to the dealer to find there has been a hold placed on your account and they tell you it has to be handled by you, that they can do nothing else with this company. You call back and try to cancel... They tell you there are no refunds, you need a notarized letter and will have to pay cancellation fees.
Then you look online and see all this: consumer complaintss, class-action lawsuits, fraud charges, and you can't believe how stupid you were.
And to top it all off, your vehicle is still broken after sitting at the dealership for a week.
Rip off!
