Here's the scoop:

-Went to "Freeway Ford" (CO Blvd & I-25) to trade in a small SUV. Looking for a big pick up.

-Days later. Brought new ("used trade") big truck back because it was leaking oil everywhere. They told me to go to their shop up the street where I left big truck for the day.

-Next day they said they fixed big truck and I came and picked it up.

-Days later. Still leaking oil (amongst everything else)

-Brought big truck in again. They told me to go to their shop up the street where I left big truck for a day...

-Next day they said big truck fixed. I came and picked it up... Again.

-Few days later. I notice (on a customers driveway from a meeting) big truck still leak oil! EVERYWHERE!

-Take truck to Ford mechanic and former neghibor friend.

-Remember the 130 point inspection!??

Well, it was MORE than obvious no inspection WHAT SO EVER had been done to this truck:
1) The radio didn't work. I later found none of the wires to the speakers were even connected. Rather just cut and thrashed inside the doors and under the seats. 2) A dead and half decayed bird was lodged in the radiator, visible from the front looking down through the grill. 3) The air filter looked like it was the original one that came with the truck years earlier! It was completely black and full of debris. 4) The oil was not changed. 5) The engine was leaking oil very badly. After two unsuccessful tries Freeway Ford advised me I bought the vehicle as is With these problems (Lemon Law anyone???), can you imagine what else I might find? Let me tell you.

Oil leak advanced so much I needed to add oil on a daily basis of average to modest driving. A mechanic advised me after having the truck for a few days, its in need of a Rear Main amongst other things. The oil leak is so bad it has caused me much embarrassment upon leaving customers driveways or streets in front of their house. I adapted to parking far away and walking, sometimes making three or four trips (one way) caring all the materials and tools I needed for that giving job. Other occasions (at least 6 I can think of) I am left cleaning and scrubbing oil stains from customers (probably not repeat or referal customers now!) driveways

Wouldn't start on a cold morning. Even being plugged in over night, and turning the key 3,4 sometimes 5 times for the wait to start light to cycle, before trying to crank it, still wouldn't start. And sometimes, at least 5, when it did start it ran idle for about a minute and half, then died. I couldn't bring it back with out jump starting it with another car, and spraying starting fluid into the air intake. Each time costing me about 45 minute to an hour. I have been late to jobs, and even needed to reschedule completely because of this lemon truck the dealer refused to take credit for.

The truck died on me, once at a busy intersection, re-starting (thankfully) and going about my way Two other times that come to mind being when braking hard because of the car in front of me (I-25), and another turning a 90 degree turn onto a busy street (University and Quebec, Highlands Ranch, East bound). Real nice...

Brake pedal turned lose or spongy randomly, or when braking at random times through-out driving. Multiple times the brakes even went unresponsive until the last second of pressing very hard, bringing me way to close to hitting whatever happens to be in front of me (three times that come to mind it was another car!).

This was my life line, my right arm to my business (this truck), and I had no choice but to deal with the problems as well having no money to pour into fixing them. Freeway Ford, Couldn't and didn't care less! One of the managers over the phone even laughed at me!!!

Oh theres more! Okay, the truck seemed to jerk hard and suddenly just before coming to a complete stop. Between about 15mph and fully stopped, the truck felt as though it was tugging on a tree stump. It is a scary feeling. The first few times I thought someone hit my truck. My mechanic told me this is caused from a transmission slip or something to do with a TTI or something. Finding out it needed a new transmission now! @#$&*#! %-? #?!??

Truck POURED white (or light grey) colored smoke sometimes when driving. Just random times for no apparent reason. It happened if I was driving slowly with no weight in the truck. Or if I am in a moderate climb with a load or small trailerdidn't seem to make a difference. Also, it happened weather I had the Edge / Advantage turbo system (that came with the truck) engaged or left in Stock setting.

Door locks didn't work. Was advised the Actuators are bad. I have to unlock or lock each of the 4 doors as necessary throughout daily use of the lemon using the one Key I was given.

AC (air conditioning) was always on. The truck had an AC setting; however if I wanted just air, the AC came on. If I use any other setting or setting combination other than the dash (upper) vents, then the AC didn't work at all... And that was the only way to make it not work, to have air on the floor!

Check Engine Light turned on at random, and didn't go back off until vehicle was restarted. It did this every time I drove. I remember it even did this on the test drive at Freeway Hell, I mean Ford, and they told me it was normal. At first the light is off. After a few minutes or a few miles, the light says Service Engine...

Power steering pump I found out was replaced on the second time I dropped of the truck, they didn't tell me this as well as something with the radiator. I found out from the thirs party directly, that the dealership brought the truck to when after I brought it to them.

Also, (all of these problems were verified by the dealership them selves in writting! - apparently they thought they would just give me the bill for all this shi6 after "fixing it" lol) - anyway, also, I found both the batteries needed to be replaced.

There was even more wrong with the truck. Just amazing! And, the only offer I finally got Freeway Ford to give me, was to take the truck back adding over 8 thousand in negative equity towards me buying another truck from them!!!???

I traded the lemon at "GO" Toyota, a great dealership all around. I now have a Toyota Tundra. I took that hit of 8k rolled onto this Tundra from "MY" so called negative equity. Again I originally bought the P.O.S. Ford from "The Freeway Crooks" clean, bringing over no negative equity. I worked hard for many years to get to that spot in my life. And they destroyed that along with making MANY other problems in my life, just to make a sale for some numbers on paper in some board room - just to think about all this everyday since it all happaned, I am beyound upset and seeking justice.

So, again, now I have a truck with thousands more than its worth and struggle every month trying to pay 618.00 truck payment! The truck I originally thought I was getting from the Devil Dealership was just 380.00 a month. So I will continue to fight and am about to sue Freeway Ford regarding the lemon law, mainly, as well their lie's and deceit; until I get my 8k back which I can then put into my Tudra, and re-finance...

CONCLUSION:
Freeway Ford, Barbee's Freeway Ford, (Barbies, Barbie's, Freeway Ford / Free way Ford / Colorado) I-25 & Evans; they lie, they cheat, they sell lemons, they are fradulant, and they know it! They also pay off Tom Martino and his group - I more than guarantee it!
- VERY concerned citizen! FYI - BUYER BEWARE!

Do your research, you will find one terrible story after another going back to at least 2005 WARNING of this disgusting dealership! How they are still in business or don't have an indictment or class action suite against them is beyond me!

Help me to get them out of our town! Denver~
