Service at The Collection is a Rip Off!
I understand that dealer service can be expensive (even though I don't drive a Ferrari) but I did not expect the LIES.
I went in for an oil change on my Audi S4- after about half an hour the service advisor called me back into his office to tell me there was about $900 of other service needed on my car. I was shocked because among these charges was: $185 to change my air filter - I asked why so expensive and the advisor said it was because I had a S4 and the air filter part "is at least $100"
I didnt believe him - and took 20 minutes of arguing to refuse more service. So I called another Audi dealer - air filter $35. Then I proceeded to walk over to The Collection's own part's dept - air filter $45!! And not even in stock.
Also, The Collection wanted $190 for a wheel alignment - I refused even after the advisor went into these detailed descriptions of my wheel angles and blah blah blah. But took my car to a alignment specialty mechanic. The alignment was $60 there BUT after checking my wheels-the specialty mechanic said he would NOT do the alignment because there was NO need! He showed me his computer to prove it, charged me $40 for the check-up and I was on my way.
The Collection might be big and fancy - but it's a fraud. Service advisor Leo - you are a fraud!
