Hot Ride Motors doing business with Ebay

Yes, when something is too good to be true why don't we back away? We've all heard of those deals but somewhere deep in our psyche we want to believe in others, we want to believe that they are sincere and trustworthy. After all, why would you call someone you never met or had any knowledge of... A liar? Well, that WAS the way I used to feel. I believed in my fellow man until they gave me cause not to trust them.

Out of all my transactions on Ebay I have been pretty lucky. I've been "Ripped-Off" only twice; four if you count Ebay itself.

Yes, the first Rip-Off was a motor that I watched, bid on and subsequently won just to have the seller ask for more money. I tried to work it out with the seller but ended up contacting Ebay with the problem. To say Ebay was LESS than helpful would be an understatement. They basically shrugged their shoulders and said "Sorry, but we can't do anything".

My second time being "Ripped Off' on Ebay has lead me to this crusade. This horrific experience was the result of my buying a 1999 GMC Envoy SUV from a dual of "snake oil" salesmen, named Samuel G. Laken and Andrei Losev, who have, literally, thus far, scammed thousands of consumers, looking for a good deal, in this bad economy, on Ebay - So much so, that I've made it my 'mission' in life, to shut them down on Ebay, therefore putting a stop to their scamming of unsuspecting consumers everywhere!

After this second time of being Ripped-Off, on Ebay... Ebay (initially, that is, lol) was true to form by passing the proverbial buck. Now you would think a company like Ebay would protect BOTH it's buyer's as well as it's seller's but after talking to lots of you out there and reading about other scams and such it looks like all Ebay is interested in is the profit line and Not your problem.

So, the moral of this story is "Take heed... If it's too good to be true... Back Away!!!

And Don't count on Ebay to have your back... Ever"!
