Thurston Auto Plaza took advantage of KP, a developmentally-disabled man in his thirties by selling him a 2004 truck with a bunch of extras (insurance package!?), getting his mother to co-sign (she's not much brighter than her son is), and saddling the family with a $418 monthly payment. (KP's income at the time was $1,000 per month.) The truck is now being repossessed. Every DD person (or anyone for that matter) should have someone look over any contract before they sign.
