This company claims to be employee friendly, but they lie to you and cheat you!

Worked hard for this company for a little over two years. They made big promises about taking care of their employees and their customers. As a GM for one of their dealerships I was told by my regional strategist to keep my mouth quiet about the many service issues. That the service department was doing what they were told to do. So just shhhhhhhhhhhh! Many times I sent brake rotors back to Art Anderson who was head of Service and Reconditioning for sales. The histories on the vehicles listed complete brake work and new rotors and installation being charged to vehicles. Some of these vehicles even caught fire because the truth was that the brakes had never been changed. They hide the service issues pretty good. One of the new regional strategists and i began to look in to several hundred of the vehicles quietly and behind the scenes. WE found thousands and thousands of dollars charged to these vehicles in fake service corrections that were never done. Cars charged 3 times for batteries that still had to be changed at the lots. Cars with brand new brake work that had to have new rotors within 14 day? Cars with dashes screwed on with sheet rock screws just to pass inspection. Front bumpers repainted to hide??? Many many thousands charged against cars for no reason since work was never actually done. Where did the money go Art? Or is there a huge pile of parts in your old office that never actually got installed? These rotors i sent down as proof just disappeared. I was even verbally threatened by Art Anderson to keep my mouth shut because I did not know who I was dealing with. The regionals "buried" that conversation in HR paperwork. They have a new sneaky way to pass service issues on to customers and charge the dealerships if they say anything. They deliver the cars to the dealerships and the sales people, who don't know mechanics from their elbows, are required to check them in and notate all service issues. Yes they have switched the responsibility to non mechanic personel. Then the dealerships are only given 24 hours to report any problems or the dealership has to pay for the repairs. The dealerships have already had so much of their profitability margin stolen through corporate "fake" programs that they ignore the problems and let them become customer service issues. Customers are not even graded out the way they used to be so it makes it much harder for the sales people to sell cars. There has been a very defined effort by corporate to damage the ability of the dealerships to sell cars anyway. I proved to Cameron Marsh that corporate was secretly changing the grading system for customers credit and not informing the dealerships. I was contacted by several people that were friends of mine and working in positions from sales to GM and even in corporate positions. They warned me about the truth behind Drive Time. That it was eventually going to be sunk like the previous business interests of Ernie Garcia and Ray Fidel. Just google the names. The reading is incredible. I had no idea. There is quite a wave of people working there now that know about this. Many have contacted me or my friends and told me they are secretly looking for employment elsewhere. Most of the Tampa GM's had trumped up charges used to terminate them. They were used as scape goats for the regional team who constantly refused to listen to their advice from the field. Funny how my dealership was accused of overspending on trade allowances. You know spending money to make money? Yet my dealership was ranked 20th in the entire company of 104 dealerships for profitability. Oh yeah I was also the one GM who spent the most money to help customers with service issue. Cameron Marsh, the new Tampa Regional Director and his two puppets Allan Boyce and Mary from HR, were mostly responsible for lying to and termination of the best GMs in the company. All so Cameron (Hi BUUUUUUDDY) Marsh could bring in more of his Orlando friends to run Tampa. He promised help to each of the GMs he fired. He promised to come and spend time with me. That DT was going in a new direction and he was going to help us learn and get there. Then he has he lying puppet Boyce call to see if you are there at work while Cameron and Mary sneak up to your dealership one week later to terminate you. Knowing that 4 of the 5 items he gave you one week ago to change had been accomplished. He even got angry because I refused to lie to my employees for him. What a man. Even allowed Allan Boyce to lie about me so they could use it for my termination reasons. Ya know Allan... You used to be one of two real men that i looked up to for integrity and leadership. Too bad you sold out all your friends and even your family members. Yes Allan... Everyone knows about your lies to your own brother in law Chuck. You really hurt your relationship there! You watched as they took us out one by one and just hid behind your fat paycheck. You are a big willing pawn in their game. Do not be fooled by Mary's advertising and promising big money folks. They are using an antiquated system of bird dogging and pressuring the sales people so heavily that many are quitting. Ask them how many salespeople have quit in the last 12 months at that one dealership. They over staff on purpose. Then force the GM to accept it or he is not "working with the team" right Mary? The level of stress is so high that you quickly learn to hate your job there. If you have time to quit then great... Otherwise they drum up lies against you and fire you by surprise. If you are not a complete suck up. You will not last. Never even following their own rules about verbal and written warnings first. They are too scared some body will find out the truth.

So much more to say about the lies and ignored customers and screwed up service issues there that I will post again later. They play with peoples lives there. Run from this company. I have everything I need to prove what i say hidden away in several copies in several location with instructions to several people.
