Sells Junk Cons Dishonest

I am a 19 year old kid that is in college and needed a transmission in order to get to school (4 1/2 hours away) I purchased the transmisssion expecting it to be at my house within two weeks. I drive all the way home after calling them and making sure it would be there. I get home and nothing. I call again that Monday since i had to go back to school and they said it would be two weeks. (I was pissed) It costs 160 dollars for me to come home and get back.

Anyways i finally got the transmission after about a month and a half or two.
I opened it up because i was curious it had some wrong parts and i ended up putting three hours of work into it just to get it to work. I figured about (200 dollars worth of work at a tranny shop) Put it in and took it to school. School ended so i go home and what happens, it shucks. I have 3rd and reverse not even 500 miles on it.

Call them tell them it was junk they say send it back along with your old one so we can match them up. They promised me a 100 dollar core for it. They were very fast in having a semi come pick the two transmissions up, but again i never got another for another 2 months. I went all summer without a vehicle thanks to these people. I got the second one and its missing parts. I call them telll them and they say buy it we will refund you. (40 dollars)

Anyways i put that one in and it doesnt have overdrive. Surprise surprise. I call and finally get to talk to scott yaslow, which is very hard to acomplish. I tell him im tired of his junk and i want a refund. He laughs and hangs up. I could never get ahold of anyone after that. So i decided to buy another transmission from someone local. He took my old transmission from tranzparts and gutted it. He said it looked like it had 400,000 miles on it. (complete junk).

So when all was said in done i was out 700 for the trans, 100 for the core, 200 in labor, 40-60 in parts, and a vehicle for 4months.
That adds up to about 1,000 to 1,100 dollars and dont forget i didnt have a vehicle thats worth another 2,000 to me. I'm in college and that would have paid for half of a semester. (Not cheap)

All i can say is stay away from Tranz Parts, Scott Yaslow, and anyone they represent. Lately they have changed there name on ebay i believe. No more tranzparts, so keep a good look out for something from tampa, and there is also a miami shop.
