Someone previously already made a report on the vehicle i purchased obviously out from under them last Feb. Of 2008. I must say i am no sab. I knew the steering stabalizer was not there and requested it be fixed and it was when i purchased the vehicle. From there on out working with glenbrook dodge has been a joke to say the least. I purchased the truck in feb. Of 2008 which has already been stated, i also bought an extended warranty with the vehicle.
Here is where the problems began and still have not been resolved. On july 11 i took the truck in because it was not running correctly. The guages were dieing and the truck would sputter and want to die. I was contacted the same day saying there was a lose fuse and it was "reseated" and they could not get the truck to duplicate the problems i stated. I then went to pick up the truck and was charged 67.00 to "reseat" a fuse which i thought was a little ridiculous but not near as ridiculous as this is turning out. I went to drive off the lot and the truck did exactly what it was doing when i took it in. I parked the truck and made my way back inside and advised them the problem still exist.
Days later they contacted me saying the ecu was bad and it was going to need a new one which wasnt covered under my warrenty. I then called the warrenty company and they stated that everything but that was covered. So i told them to order it and get it fixed because i needed the truck for work. Well they called me after they installed the new ecu and said there was some other module that wasnt working correctly and were ordering a new one of those too. Well from there on out ive been getting a run around the whole time.
A few weeks back i was told the truck runs fine but the guages do not work and they dont have a clue why. I went to Glenbrook and talked to every manager i could. They told me they ordered a new guage cluster and it didnt fix the problem either. I asked them what they are going to do now. They said they would work on it everyday untill they fixed it. I laughed. Its a joke.
They have now had my truck from July 11-present. Still the truck is not fixed and they are making me pay my 520 truck payment every month on it without having a vehicle to drive to work to make the money. I tried to get them to stop payments untill the truck was fixed they would not allow that.
Im now falling way behind in bills due to the fact that i have no income because i dont have a vehicle. They wont offer me rental car or anything. Im stuck battling with people who are selfish and only care about thier selves.
All in all glenbrook is a joke and i DO NOT suggest anyone to do business with anyone of their branches or service centers at that. WHo know when i will get my vehicle back. For a 5 star dealer i do not expect to be treated like this. Joke joke joke
