Car Credit America - J.D. Byrider - Greenwich Finance
This company has been nothing but deceivng liars that are true scam artists

Where to begin!!! These companies have put me through living hell. I got a car from Car Credit America back in April of 07. At the time I was young, naive, and no credit at all, so it was difficult to get financed for a car, but car Credit America made that possible for me. I was a single mother in desperate need of a car traveling to and from Aurora and Bolingbrook 5 days a week between home and work. Well at the time I had no idea to what I was getting myself into, but if I could turn back the hands of time I would with no questions asked.

Everyhting was ok in the beginning of having possesion of the car, but that slowly faded. After having the car for 5 months the car stared literally breaking down on me.in September the car just stopped on me on my way to work and I couldn't get the car started back up. I let Car Credit America know and they informed me that I had to bring the car in for them to look at it and it would take at least 2 weeks for them to look at it not guaranteeing they would be able to fix it and it was not coverd by the warranty. So I couldn't afford to be without a car for that long I had a child to look after so I had to go in my own pocket to pay to get the car fixed which cost me $360.00 and to tow the car which was $90.00. I got the car back no longer than a week later the car shuts off again. This time it cost me $300.00 to get it fixed. Again Car Credit America let me know they coudn't get to the car. No later than a month a nd a half later the car breaks down on me again and again the company couldn't help so I had to get the car towed to different places to try to get it fixed. Nobody could find the problems so it eventually had to go the dealership of the particular car make. It was there that they found out it was a sensor in the car and that the engine was no good and would eventually go out.

Well I was furious I called Car Credit America and let them know and hy ifomred me that a sensor was not covered by the warrany and that the engine had not went out yet so they couldn't do anything about the engine. So I paid $650.00 to get the sensor fixed. 4 weeks after that the car had to go back to the dealership where it was now the electricial system that went out. And again no help from Car Credit America but they did feel the need to inform me to make my payment. I had made my payments faithfully throughout all this time $304.00 to be exact every month. When I couldn't make the payment on time due to gettting he car fixed I let Greenwich Finance know in which we worked out a payment plan. So there went another $230.00. Well the next few months were heaven compared to the past months I went through. I could take no heat and the tires blowing that was all small stuff compared to what I had already went through.

Well I finally hit rock bottom with these companies. A year after having the car I had to pay again out of pocket because the warranty didn't cover it I had to get the brakes fixed in which that was $650.00. I had made all my payments even through all this, but I just couldn't do it anymore. I decided to find a place of employment closer to my home, in which I did. Once I did I stopped making my payments and let them know they can come get the car. Once I did that I continuosly received phone call after phone call looking or a payment. They even went to trying to say they were somebody else on my answering machine at the beginning of the message to saying a different name at the end of the message. But they went even lower than that when they took a payment off my debit card (they had it on file when I would call to make a payment) without my authorization. I had to put in a complaint with my bank for an authorized transaction and I put in a complaint with the state's attorney. I am still waiting on any of the results from my complaint but in the mean time I contiuned to get calls from Greenwich Finance and I told them the same thing come get the car. It took them 2 months to come get the car and now am receiving calls stating my wages are going to be garnished even though I am no longer in possession of the car.
So now I am playing the waiting game there is no way I am going to stand for my wages to be garnished without me being in possession of the car. I am a single mother I can't afford to do this anymore, not am I only financially drained but I'm also emotionally ans physically exhausted.

Please nobody do business with these people and if there is anybody that can help me out there please do I can not afford for them to garnish my wages.
