Went to Classic Cadillac on Monday, Sept 22nd, 08 to inquire about a 2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT. Since GM was advertising incentives and discounted pricing on vehicle. We chose Classic since we've purchased 2 other vehicles from them. Afte the test drive of the vehicle we chose to proceed on with the credit application portion. Due to the time restraints and needing to pick up my son, our salesman, John Talliaferro as well as the GM, Wayne Bochum allowed my husband and I to take the vehicle home and come back to sign paperwork.

After calling the dealership and speaking with John for 1 week (keep in mind we still have the vehicle in our possession), and hearing all the justifications on getting our application approval, the VP or something from GMAC was going to be a the dealership and would approve the app since Classic was a Platinum dealership, etc. Etc. Finally, on Friday, Sept 26, at 6:30pm, I was told by Mr. Talliaferro for us to come in on Saturday and complete the paperwork.

On Saturday, Sept 27th, at 10:30am, we went to Classic after a day long negotiation, we signed the paperwork, paid the down payment and acquired the vehicle around 2pm. Alex Ciero was the financing contact person.

After driving home (45 miles) I get a call from someone named, Clay, to inform us that GM declined the app and we need to return the vehicle. I was livid, I'v never purchased a car and the dealership runs the application after I'm gone with the vehicle.

After, talking with the staff I was dealing with, NO ONE could give me the correct answer on what went on after we left the facility. And my husband and I was told that this was a completed deal and financed through GMAC.

I will never return to the dealership no purchase any GM vehicles or deal with GMAC EVER. I felt this was the most unprofessional, un-trustworthy situation we've ever endured.
