Bought s1700 last fall from Cdn Tire. I am having the same problems as everyone else - leaky nozzle. I tried to open it to see where the leak was - pretty * silly design. Then I thought I might get some tip from the web - good thing I surfed - here I am I found a whole bunch of very dissatisfied customers like myself. My advice - don't go near one even if Cdn Tire tries to entice you with a 50% off.
I think I'll try Princess auto for replacement as suggested by another writer - I really needed to use it and now I have to waste another couple of hours trying to look for a solution. I will not bother with Cdn Tire as they are known for their lack of customer service.
