Car needed brake pads & they came to pick up car & stated it would be back thursday 8-15-08. Needless to say they weren't done when promised & stated that the cost would be over $400! My wife just went into labor & we didn't have the exact amount. She called rick to state that we would be in to pick up car asap when we had the money.
Her mom called & spoke to rick & he told her they do not accept credit cards so her mom told him she would send me with a check.
I arrive on location & he acted all "timeshare" salesman nice & as soon as i pulled that check out, he went off the handle. My wife then called him back to say that we would be down there again asap when we had the exact $443, not the $60 or so she thought we were going to pay. I did not have any real info on this matter as it was between my wife's car, my wife & her mother.
Rick calls me at work & tells me my car tag is expired, i was going to give him a worthless check & to top it off, i get a call from my auto finance co wanting to know when i was going to "pick up my car from the shop". Someone at done right went thru personal belongings. I'm not the kind of guy that wants to start or cause any trouble as it's better to walk away most of the time, however, i have never been treated this way & i will be more than happy to assist or be a part of any suit brought forth against rick or done right.
