I found a 1999 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 on Auto Trader listed as being in Union City, California with 49,000 miles and asking only $2,140. I tried to call the number listed, but just got a fax machine. I then emailed asking the person to contact me by phone. It just seemed too good to be true.
I didn't receive a return call. I just received this email...

The email threw up red flags for me, so I researched the company on the internet and found that it was a scam. I notified autotrader and am listing my experience here to assist other consumers in not getting taken by this scam.
