I also was almost swindled by Elizabeth Calfee. I found two cars on AutoTrader.com, one a BMW and the other a Jaguar.
I sent inquiries for both. I found it odd when I received responses back for both... Each coming from Elizabeth Calfee.
Since it sounded too good to be true I did some investigating. I did a reverse phone number search for both numbers on the ads and discovered the numbers were in Needville, Texas and Vigo Park Texas.
Thinking it odd that Elizabeth, supposidly in Scottland, had the cars advertised as located in Apollo, Florida but the contact numbers were in Texas... So I went to the trusty old Internet and searched her name, Elizabeth Calfee, and ended up here.
Below are the two (2) emails I received from her.

This totals three cars I have come across on AutoTrader with the same MO; The seller is located out of the country, price includes shipping and insurance, to be handled through a third party company, have to sell cheaply because of European Specs, no one where they are living wants to buy the car.

The car is still for sale with a clear title. Never had any mechanical problems or been in accidents. I must tell you that I had to move to United Kingdom one month ago with my work and I took the car with me hoping to drive it here as well. Here I had an unpleasant surprise because the car is an US model and to pay the registration here in Europe, to pass all the emissions and standards and many other would be quite expensive and nobody would do it. I have tried to sell it locally but it was not succesfully because the steering wheel of the car is on the left side and here the cars have the steering wheel on the right side. That is why I am trying to sell the car back in USA, there will be no further problems because the car passes US emissions standards and DOT & EPA as long as it has been purchased in US space.
The shipping and the handling are included in the price. Shipping takes 7-8 days.
