Back in 2005 I purchased the worst mistake of my life. A 1994 Acura Integra with what appeared to be and was told $5000 worth of modifications and a new engine. The engine was supposedly less than 35k old even though the odometer said 149k. I came to find out some serious issues.
2 days after i purchased the car Devin closed up shop and reopened a week later as GREAT LAKES AUTOMOTIVE. I soon had issues with the car, 2 hours after purchase... It wouldn't start, being a manual transmittion i Pop-Started it, he said he would fix it, took 4 weeks of hounding him to get it done. Come to find out the radiator and the engine are completely factory. Not even a year after purchase the car was falling apart and the engine finally blew. I attempted to contact Devin who said he was unaware that of the troubles with the car and that his boss bought it at auction. Well, here's the scoop on Devin, i know there are a few people out there who want to know more about this guy.
Devin Eckels was a General Manager for Ganley Chrystler in he was a well respected sales leader who had the attitude to get him to the top. When he hit the top of his game he was making enough to like in a moderate community southwest of cleveland. He mortgaged his house, and set himself up to open a dealership with one idea in mind. The Honest Dealer that will sell cheap cars and make profit on quantity of sales, not the price.instantly there were problems. Cheap cars are cheap for a reason.
As his homes was foreclosing and he was losing everything he had built he went into a survival mode and started to lie about everything. His new strategy was..."Whatever it takes to get you in this car" his tactic pays off sometimes. His Buy Here Pay Here scheme is working and his E-bay sales are selling cars that he purchases for $4000 and re sells for $16k... He now resides in Parma Heights with his wife keeping above water, "One Sucker at a time"
I know about him through personal experience. I also assisted him with Advertising after I had purchased what I thought was a deal. I have talked to former co-workers, and researched public records. I and claiming that all i have said can be backed up.
