I have to say I was a complet idiot for going to jd byryder. Even after seeing what jerks they could be when you are even a day or so late I still went to them. My childs father had purchased a car from there before we met, however he really never had any problems until the car was almost paid off, so I gave it a shot like a compelte ass!
First of all let me say that I am a woman and should have never went alone in the first place. I have a 2000 Pontiac grand am which when I bought it a year ago it had close to 97,000 miles on it!
Yes I know you are shaking your head like big fool but I did it. They sold me this lovly story saying we will never go over what you cant afford and it will help your credit this and that and if anything goes wrong with the car then just bring it back... Oh we also give you free oil changes
I signed the papers, thinking I would be paying 10,000 for a car (which the car is no where near worth that) but when I got home and went through all the paper work they had me sign in a matter of 10 min I read I will have paid 15,000 for the car by the time I am finished!
Well the oil changes takes forever for them to even see you, which if you work means you have to arrange to have another ride arranged just for an oil change that will take any other company 10 min to do.
If you are late even just one day they are blowing you up, which thank god has only happened once! (This really was a harrasing issue with my childs father when he was going through a tough time with work they were calling even harrasing my fathers house even when he asked them to stop calling because he didnt live there)
Oh and get this, I just got a call today from my cousin who said instead of them switching my tag from my old car they canceled hers. How in the hell when she isnt even a co signer on my car did they even get her info... Makes you wander
They are all in it for the money. The cars they sell are shit. Not really reliable. I just paid 320 for a piece of my sterring wheel that went out. My radio never worked.
The speakers in the back had to be rewired they had been cut. I understand that I purchased a used car... Used or not I expected better. Anyone who is reading this dont ever in life go to jd byryder. They are there to jack you not help you.
