I searched various sites one evening trying to find a starter for a 1994 Volvo. Certain sites had quick info boxes to be completed so they can check their inventory for your particular part.
First thing the very next morning an email from Heritage Auto parts shows up in my in box. They claim to have just the part I was looking for at a reasonable price. The guy was very helpful and said they warranty their parts for 90 days and they ship really fast.
I went over the particular part several times just to make sure we were on the same page. The young man assured me that all parts worked and gave me a little history about where the part was taken from.
Well when their part arrived my mechanic immediately took my starter out and before he put the "new' starter in, he decided to test it. Low and behold it did not work! If that wasn't surprising enough. The bank notified me that my debit card was being charged a 2nd time for the same purchase. Livid is an understatement. This vehicle is my only means of transportation right now and I have incurred fees with my bank.
This is far from over... Consumers please, whatever you do. Do not purchase from these crooks. Save yourself a Headache.
