I was traveling through Vegas, which is about 1800 miles from my home. Our car was having problems and I asked Bill Heard's service department to replace the torque control lockup solenoid assembly inside the tranny.instead they sniffed the transmission fluid and told me I needed a new transmission. Then they did a 21 point vehicle inspection that I did not request. Altogether I was charged $115 for services that I did not ask for.
They offered to change the entire transmission, which was NOT needed, for something like $2500. Ha, I don't think so.
I expected a reputable GM dealer to do what I asked them.instead, I got a shyster trying to force feed me a transmission that I did not need.
So, I drove the car home and made the repairs myself. Several thousand miles later, and guess what? The transmission is still working as it should. So much for Bill Heard's reputable service. Ugh.
