This company used to be called Transouth. My car loan was originally under the name "Transouth". However this company filed two credit reports, with each name. One credit report from Transouth shows "pays as agreed". The other from Americredit shows the loan as "charged off"m, meaning I did not pay.
This is an old loan, approximately 10 years old! It was completely paid and I no longer own this car. I've called this company multiple times to request that they remove or fix the false report but it's still there! They admit the loan is paid in full but take no action to report the data correctly.
This is a negative false report and it does affect my credit rating. This company is willingly and knowingly damaging my credit.
Also, beware that this company reports under multiple addresses. On each report from the three major credit bureaus, a different address is listed for this company.
My experience with this company was completely negative, even before the account was paid off and I finally got rid of them. I would advise others to stay away!
