I took my 2000 saturn to ECONOlube on june 17 for them to check my a/c, well after about 30 min they told my moms husband it would be 527.00 too fix the blower motor was out and it would take about 2 hours
we said ok and went to eat came back an hour later an my car was sitting there now mind you the guy was charging us 90 dollars an hour for labor the reciept says labor 1.50 / $90hr inside the guy said i was done an it blows ice cold i was so grateful to have A/C, I am also at this time 1 month from haveing my second child, my comute one way to work is 25 miles.
So i get in my car an it is cold not ice cold but i figured it needed to just run so it ran and ran it was ok but i thought it would be colder well about a week later i get in my car to go to work an i have no air im like huh!? So as i am driving the air turns on but then shuts off does this the whole way back to jiffy lube i get there tell the lady what is happening show her my receipt and she says ok i sit around for a long time and the guy comes back and says ok you need a new blower motor
Im like ya well a week ago i was here getting just that the reciept for it is in your hand he looks at his clip board kinda laughs an goes oh i didnt even see that there, but get this he has showed me the cost already on another receipt wich are this labor 30 MINUTES 35 dollars an hour blower motor$137. When you add that up it is no were near the 527.00 they had charged me o i forgot freon 12.95 tax x2 so i mention this and the guy is instantly giving me 40 dollars in free oil changes he states that is the differance i was charged
I went to speak to the manager an he said ya he is taking care of it meaning my free oil changes im like watever i have to get to work so i am driving and all i can say is what do i do now my car excelerates fast slows down speeds up has no power at all you can feel the shifts it is missing, and the blower motor blows and stops sometimes not always my caR RAN FINE BEFORE I AM SCARED TO TAKE MY CAR BACK THERE because it is my only car, and it did only take him 30 min to do the job so why was i charged 90$ an hour for an hour and a half from the other guy? I feel so ripped off by these people. This is the ECONO lube on 19th ave an bell road i am at work an i dont have the phone number so i am giving the address
