Ripoff, illegal reposession

I had my car reposessed by LongBeach Acceotance after being late on my car payment for 9 days.

I told them i woulnt be able to make the payment that month and would make a double payment the following month. The guy I talked to told me that I needed to make the payment that day Or he would reposess it. This happened in 1999.

His exact works were " You need to make that payment tomorrow big guy, or I will come to your house and take your f*cking car myself if I have to" I told him I coulding and it would have to wait another 2 weeks. 3 days later, I was at work, and they literally drug the car out of my back yard, tearing up my lawn and took my car. I was never later before on my payments.
They wouldnt tell me where my car was, and after some hearty searching I found it, too late. It had been sold at a public car auction in Indianapolis for $637. I woed over $6000 on the car.

Luckily I filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy and sicne they had no collateral, they couldnt collect. Good Job Guys! Your all a bunch of winners...
