Let me tell you about these scum bag pukes. I bought a car from them. It ran decent, never really had any issues with it. Time went by, and around March of this year I got a phone call from Beverly at the lot stating that my car pymts had been put on someone else's credit card and that this person wanted to press charges on me, etc. So me being in shock, I immediately was pissed off seeing that I had never called in any credit card payments, I do not even own a credit card. All transactions with this sh*t hole had been done thru cash or money orders only. So to make a very long story short, I told her very upset that I refuse to have charges pressed on me due to their neglagence. She stated they could not just refund this woman's card back and I again told them they better because I did not authorize this transaction. The name of the lady, whom I have never heard of just happened to be a Doctor in the local area. Funny thing is, I never met her, never spoke to her in my life, NOTHING! So May 7th, I am at work having lunch with a co-worker. Mind you this all started in March with no contact from them in between. May 7th I am leaving work after having lunch with a friend and I get confronted in the parking lot. Funny thing is I forgot where I actually parked, and where I parked would have been a security/parking violation. So as security and the Director of Human Resources approached me in the parking lot I am sweating bullets, thinking what the hell did I do. I had only been with the company less than 2 months when this happened. So I get brought into the Directors office and she looks so sick that she even has to be doing this. Mean time, I did not even know why I was in this room with them or what the situation may have been. So in comes a detective from the St. Petersburg Police Dept. He comes in and says you are under arrest for credit card fraud. Mean time, I work for customer service for major credit unions, and I have nothing but access to credit and debit cards all day long. This lady was not one of our accounts for those of you thinking this is where I could have gotten this card info from. Anyways they slap handcuffs on me, in which I have never seen the side of trouble before. I get walked out of the building in handcuffs in front of one of my other coworkers whom happens to be one of my very best friends. She looks at me about to freak out. So I get thrown in the back of a cop car. They drive over to my car, empty it out while going thru all the shit they feel like looking at, without my permission or a search warrent!!! I couldn't do shit because I was in the back of the cop car handcuffed. Mean time, my other co worker is at the other building looking out the window freaking out not knowing what happened. So I get my car taken from me, which f* the car and the dealership seeing they have balls enough to have me thrown in jail for their mistake in the first place. I get taken to St. Pete PD for interogation, the detective is a real asshole. First he comes to my house and gives my belongings to my brother. My brother said NOTHING to this asshole and he comes back and says that my Grandmother and Brother told him "I was back at it again". Check my criminal record, I have none, never been arrested before this, and never been in trouble! If I had, I would never got the job where I was working! So this detective starts questioning me and I told him "I have nothing to hide" which I didn't. I had no attorney present, because I didn't even have an attornery to represent me. So after a few minutes this a*hole starts putting words in my mouth, in which I told him you know what if you are going to put words in my mouth, I have nothing else to say until I speak to a lawyer. He walked away with his dickheaded self and called the car dealership and continued to talk sh*t about me to them, meanwhile I can hear his as* because I'm in a room with an open door. So I get taken to the transport van, in which I sat in this hot f*king stinky van with no windows for well over an hour before even leaving to go to the county jail. I get to the county jail and they strip me of everything including my DIGNITY! They took my jewelery, my shoes, my clothes, my piercings, my CASH! Everything I owned. I get strip searched, which by the f*ing was is very HUMILIATING!!! After this, I get thrown into a holding cell. After the holding cell, I was taken to intake. I sat for about 10 or 11 hours before being taken to another holding cell containing other female inmates. I had my finger prints, my mug shots, and I even had my picture plastered in this inmates publication that goes around the area. I heard at my old job it was going around and people were talking sh*t about me. That in itself is also embarassing. So I spent the night in jail. On this hard, cold plastic mat, with a hard and itchy sheet and a little thin blanket. I lost the rest of my clothing as they put me in a bright yellow jumpsuit before they took me to this holding cell. So in the morning, I had a hearing. My bail was set for $5,000.00 on a felony charge of $500.00 in credit card fraud. The judge let me out on R.O.R. For 2 weeks or 3 maybe I had to call every Wednesday and check in or I would go right back to jail. On Wednesday June 4th, I called to check in and was told I no longer had to check in since the case had been dropped. Just as I thought, I knew the entire time I was innocent. I had to hire a public defender because this ordeal caused me to lose my great paying job. I lost over a month of pay. After being cleared of these charges, and speaking to friends and family I have decided to sue for false arrest. There was no prior investigation done before my arrest, and no warrent issued either. They came to my job and humilitated me, I lost my job, I lost my car, I lost everything. I called my Mom from those horrible phones at the jail and cried my eyes out knowing I was innocent. I'm glad the State Attorney decided to drop the charges. I have a meeting with my previous employer on Monday June 9th to discuss getting my job back. I want to know what I can do to persue suing these a*holes for putting me thru this. I lost everything, and it caused major depression and anxiety. Thank you for taking time to read this, and please believe not everyone is guilty. The law is not always on your side.in jail you are treated like a piece of sh*t. They could careless about you. They gave me green bologna for dinner, that's disgusting. To them we are less than human. Whatever happened to the statement "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" It doesn't exist in jail that is for sure. They are rude and nasty!
