The owner of Security Chevrolet (Rick Sering) fired me, over the phone, for missing 2 days of work while I had stomach flu. He was aware I was sick and that I went to the doctor. I had a written excuse from my doctor to take a day off. I had no other previous disciplinary actions or issues. There was no reason for this other than his dislike of anuy of his employees missing work for ANY reason. He hides behind the "at will employment" clause in a standard employment application.
There are other current and former employees who have been subjected to Mr. Serings fanatical, erratic, paranoid behavior. If I had the resources, I would hire a lawyer to address this matter in court. Someone needs to show this " Dictator " that he cant treat good people this way.
