My experience at Paramus Chevrolet was horrible. They tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. They called me reagrding a vehicle that I had inquiried about. I told them I needed to expand due to the birth of my child. I currently own a malibu LS and I am looking to get into a trailblazer. The salesperson on the phone told me come on down and we will give you "x" amount of dollars for your vehicle and sell you the trailblazer for "x" amount a month. I told them that deal sounded great and that I looked forward in coming down to see and sign paperwork if possible. Then the salesperson asked me, well is your husband coming down, I said of course we make decisions together. I made the appointment, but ended up going myself cause my husband was unable to go with me. My husband had said before you make the decision call me. I went in the next day, the first thing the salesperson asked me was, is your husband on his way in. I answered no actually he changed his mind. I sat down he brought me what we discussed and it was totally different he was offering less for my car and more monthly, he said it was due to some program that I don't qualify for. Besides all that, it wasn't the model that I had told him I was looking for an LT. He was trying to stuff down my throat an LS. I looked up at him and told him you should have called me and let me know of these changes before making me come all the way down here. I quoted, this isn't what we agreed on and besides all that you are trying to steal the vehicle that I'm trading in. I said to him right away, let me call my husband and let him know of this because he expecting me to come home with a car today. Oh why did I say that, he right away got up and said let me talk to my manager and I will see what I can do. He comes back to tell me that they made a mistake inputting the numbers and they actually picked up the wrong invoice to the vehicle. I was so disgusted by what they tried to pull because my husband wasn't there, that I got up and started proceeding towards the door. The sales manager stops me at the door and says please have a seat, we honestly made a mistake and would like to fix it. That was total bulls*. They knew exactly what they were doing and thought that I would be a typical woman coming to by something because I like to spend money. Then to top it off, as I am approaching my car, the salesperson comes to me and tells me please don't go I am new here (I guess he forgot that in our phone conversation he had told me that he had been with the company 2 years, what an idiot). That's when I slammed my car door and told them they suck and I would make sure that nobody buys from them again.
