Cash Or Payments (Auto Dealership)
Cash Or Ripped me off on the car he sold me which he repoed 2 time to get more money out of me

I got to know this guy "Cardel" from an ad from Autotrader.com. I was desperate for a car and I was willing to promise anything. Anyway if you have a shitty credit like mine you know how hard it is.

May I bought a car from this guy for $6999, no interest, no finance charge, so he says. I bougth a 2003 Saturn ION 2. It looked decent at that time. I paid him cash down payment of $1000, I signed paper to the effect that I would pay $800 a month until it's paid. At this point, I have not road tested the car. I assummed (which is really my bad not to) but I was just so glad that someone was willing to take a chance on me again. As soon as I drove that car out his office, no car lot, I noticed that the brakes were bad. At this point, since I didn't have any warranty on the car, I called him to let him know what the car needed. He said not his problem. So that day I got the car I had to get the brakes done. No long after, before he next $800 payment was due, the wheel bearing assembly went out. I took it to Big O Tires and had it estimated, they gave me an estimate of $900 to replace it. So I bought the part myself and then had it put in by Pep Boys, which cost me a little less than $650. So I told this guy that I won't make the payment on time because of this problem. He waited and then I paid him partial payments on the $800. Not long after the fan motor of the air-conditioning went out. I took it to the Saturn dealership and they told me it will cost me another $400 to repair, so we went through the whole summer of 07 without air conditioning the car because I am just too tired to put anymore money in this junk car.in the meantime, I tried my best to keep up with the payment but because of all of these repair and problems I was having with the car I told this guy that I need to lower my payments because I just can't afford to maintain the car but I needed it.By this time, I have already given him about $2900. So I was suppose to pay him another $500 when I was in the middle of moving. I could not do it at the time he wanted me to, so he repoed the car. I ended up borrowing $2K from a friend so I can get the car back.in the meantime, he said he was going to try and get me financed so I can lower my payments. So he demanded that I pay him $250 every 2 weeks so that I can payoff the car. So when I could not pay that he again repoed the car. So he got me financing and he said I will still owe $4900 because of the fees and finance fees. At this point, I lost my job so he could not finance me because of no job verification.

So to make the long story short, I am in the hole for about $5000 after all of this BS he did to me and I am out of a car. All the repairs done on this car has documentation.

Is there any law against this practice of selling cars to desperate individuals.
Thanks for reading.
