I believed I was getting a deal especially after immediate family members purchase 3 vehciles within 1 month. I traded in my 2005 DodgeMagnum due to high mileage. I was assured they would pay off the end of the lease. Several weeks later I recieved a letter stating my balance was $6000 due to over milage, Auto Expo turned in the car without any payment and told them to bill me.
I was told by a crook named Ronnie (finance manager) no$ down and I would only need to finance for 3 months after that it would automatically turn into a unlimited mileage lease. The amount of the finance was $300 more than I wanted to pay for my car note. He even wrote me a $650 check for what he told me and put on the contract was going to be the difference between what I wanted to pay, the amount after the 3 months when the lease went into effect and the amount for financing for the 1st 3 months. Sounds like a wonderful deal right.
Well, it's too good to be true and all lies! Well, the car never went into a lease and I was stuck paying a $900 monthly car note for a 2004 E-Class Benz with over 65,000 miles for the remainder of the 72 month finance. I had no choice but to allow the finance company to voluntarily repossess the vehicle.
After Ronnie told me there was nothing he could do! All 3 of the family members that purchased vehilcles have experience very similar senerios and are stuck paying astronomical car notes for vehicles they made totally different deals for! It's robbery-beware! Maybe they think minorites are stupid! I sure feel that way! Please don't allow them to scam you!
