I went to this company because I had some hard times and my credit is not good at all. I was always told to go to this company for a vehicle. My sales person Carlos Alvarado lied to me in every way possible to purchase a vehicle from him and smiled in my face everytime I've gone in with problems.
We were not interested in any vehicles he had there on the lot so we told him we would be back the next day and go with him to look at other vehicles on different lots because it was getting late. He told us okay and asked to make a copy of a personal check we were going to use for down payment.
He came back with an automatic draft receipt and wanted me to sign it. I told him why he had done that and he said he made a copy, in my english language copy means replicating something not doing what he did. I tried to get him to reverse it because I hadn't found a vehicle yet and they should not get the money until I found one.
He told me there was no one who could reverse it and that he tried so hard to get me approved if I just wanted to back out of the deal. I need a vehicle so I said no, and I was forced to look at a vehicle that day. I ended up picking a lemon. The vehicle has been in the shop 6 times since then and I'm still having problems with it.
I then come to find out a month after purchasing the vehicle, what Carlos had did with the check that night could have been revirsed. He must have know that because he is a SALES MANAGER and has been with the company for a while. I choosed to participate in their TAX RALLY which would help with the down payment and I was lied to about that as well.
I was told once I brought my W2's in and filed my taxes I would get a check the next day. After I filed I asked Thomas Drakeford, CNAC Representative, what time I could pick up the check the next day and he told me the turn around was not that fast and I should receive my check in 2-3 days.
What a suprise that was to me another lie from Carlos. 3 days went by and my refund check was still not there. I talked to Thomas and he said the IRS would mail me a check. I gave them my banking info for direct deposit. I waited for 1 week and still nothing my refund was not deposited in my bank.
I called Thomas and he found that it was deposited in their bank account but I still didn't have a check. When I asked him if he knew why this had happen, he told me he was told that the direct deposit to my account was not done because we submitted the paperwork to late. I then went on to ask him why he did not call me and he stayed quite.
I paid $189 dollars to be put through mental anguish for that whole week. I could have filed my taxes for free and saved myself from this. No apology, no response, no compassion at all. I can not believe the service I've received with these two companies. I will get this vehicle paid off and make it my life mission to tell everyone NOT TO GO TO JD BUYRIDER. They are scam artists.
