I took my vehicle in for maintenance-oil change, radiator flush.in the process of checking the transmission fluid, they pulled one of the plug wires off of the spark plug and did not replace it. My vehicle starting running very harshly and the Check Engine light began flashing. I took it back to the shop, and they ran a diagnostic and found a cylinder one misfire. The told me that this was driveable for an out of state trip, but to get it looked at ASAP. When I did, the coil pack was completely melted through. I had this repaired with no further incident.
When I presented the bill to them for payment, they said that it could not be paid, as it was not covered under their warranty. He said the reason for this is that he couldn't send out one of his inspectors out to look at the problem before I had it fixed. The district manager then told me that I could either go to the BBB or hire a lawyer. After filing in Small Claims Court, I received proof of the true caliber of this company. You see, it's run so well, it's in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. So again, a bad corporate citizen is free to run amok.
