Online orders/Customer Service Not what Advertised to Be

We placed an order via web site, received the confirmation of the order. The items were not shipped until about a week after the order was placed, then only one of the items was shipped. We didn't recieve any explination, ie back order, out of stock etc.

We emailed customer service a few times, about once a day, and it wasn't until threatened to report them they finally responded by telling me the item was not manufactured any longer. No offer to substitute. I explained that we ordered with a gift card and no longer had the number to order another item with the refund. He advised he would send me that information. I also advised the item in question still showed available on their website. This didn't seem to be of any concern to him.

That was one week ago and I have not received that email with the gift card number.

This is the second order from this company the first took a long time to ship about 2 weeks and once shipped it took another week for delivery. Their website states fast shipping, which is not the case. The item we ordered is still listed on the website, with no notation that it is out of stock, or no longer available.

We still have not received any communication for a substitute. They do not deliver what they promise, and it is a shame, they have good items at good prices. However you better want anything you ordered in any hurry if you get it at all.
