Several months ago when I was visiting a friend of mine in Roswell, I took my car to this place inorder to get a diagnostics check done on it to find out about an indicator light I was seeing on my dashboard. Prior to going there I had gone to a NAPA auto store in town to find out about it and they checked the indicator out with their Auto Tap handheld computer and promptly told me what it was. These guys did not charge me one single red cent. I decided to get a second opinion and went to these folks in Roswell. They looked at it and gave me a bill for $85.00 with the idea that if I got it fixed it there, the fee of $85 would be adjusted with the final repair amount. Now this is what I call a RIPOFF. All I wanted was a confirmation and wouldn't have minded paying a nominal fee of, let's say, $10.00 for using the hand-held computer. But $85.00 for a 3 second reading from the exhaust? I tried reasoning with them but they wouldn't listen.
Therefore my 2 cents to folks out there: BEWARE OF THESE SCAMSTERS. They should be brought to justice. The least you can do is avoid going to them.
