Went in to Chacon Auto location in Dallas to purchase a car. The sales agent was not very polite. I asked about VIN ID check on the car I wanted to purchase, however the agent said they do not disclose that type of information. Naive as i was i went along with it and bought a car without one.
When i went to pick up my car i was informed that the car I drove and test drove was no longer available, so they offered me a completely different one. Same make and model, but different color and higher millage. I didn't feel comfortable with the transaction and when i brought it to my agents attention he verbally lashed me and said the deal was done and nothing could be done about it.
Defeted with no known recourse i took the car and ran a VIN ID Check and found that the can i drove home had frame damage. Again I talked to the agent and he started to avoid my phone calls.
I finally decided to leave it alone and put chalk it up to a D.U.M.B. Tax. I have since told everyone I know about their selling practices and told them to steer clear. Everytime i made a car payment I told potential customers of my situation to discourage them from buying. Heed this warning. DO NOT do business with this organization
