So, I listed my car with autotrader.com. I've gotten about 10 calls, but I haven't said yes to any yet. I got a call from a guy who said he was with One Stop Autos, who told me he would sell my cars for me. I listened and said I was a bit interested. He told me that he wanted to put me on the phone with someone else, his boss.
His auctioneer like boss got on th phone and told me about the service, and of course they told me to enter "classic corvette" into Yahoo - I'm sure that's the only one up there. I kept inquiring about the price, but he just kept talking. Finally, he told me $500. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't pay that much to sell my car." He yelled, "Thanks a lot for wasting my time, Sharon!" and hung up on me. (Sharon is not my same.)
I hopped on RIP OFF to see if there was info about One Stop Autos, which there wasn't.
Being the vendictive person I am, I decided to call back and pretend that I was interested again - waste some MORE of his time. This time, the representative introduced the company as One Stop Motors. Of course, I looked them up and found a few pages of how bad this company is.
P.S. Two of the people I talked to told me that where they get you is in the financing; that's where they make all their money. DO NOT FINANCE OR BUY THROUGH THEM!!! Trust me, or any of the other 50 people with rip off reports on here.
