Sonny Sonoda's body and paint shop Abusive, Mistreated, Lied to us, Cheated Employees, got paid and took too long to finish the job, 06/23/02-09/04/02. My van is still not finished.
I was involved in an auto accident 09/17/02 took my van to get fixed through the insurance co request. Body shop wouldn't work on job till the insurance co paid them. They got paid in full. The started the job and for a couple of weeks noting was being fixed on my can. Windown down open hood rain ruined the inside of my can dust from the body filled ingulfed the inside of my van.
Told the insurance co and nothing was done since I went down and close it myself. One filipino who was working on my van was being under paid and I heard this from the owners daughter and told me that the person working on my van got paid and dont know when she will see him again until his money runs out and he will come to work for money. Others she said got 15 dollors and the little filipino got around 9 dollors and hour. So why is not the 15 dollors worker not working on my van?
No reply or respons. So that means when this gie comes to work he will continue to work on my van. I would check maybe every third day and no one was working on my van, until i called my insurance co and then they started working on my van. Granted I had asked them to change the bumper and fix the roof but they told me they had more than enough money to do some little extra work for me. Mean while I sent my niece to have her bumper fixed on her Mazda and they gave them a hard time too, but little did Sonny Sonoda known that my sister was listening to him telling one of the workers that the red van should have been junked that the van is a pile of c&.
Then Dana Sonny's daughter told the father that Lysa is Russells sister. My sister told me that he stood looking kinda funny and got caught unexpectedly dow founded. I was told that the van would be finished on Friday Aug 16. Aug 16 came and went then I along with my wife dad and I went to see him the following Saturday the 24th and he said that my van would be completed on Labor day I called before I went down and Sonny told me that the van will be finished the following day that day came and went. Its September 4th and my van is still not finished.
I called my insurance and got on Rachels case to find out when they will be finished with the van and that was yesturday and they never called her back. I called today the 4th and they gave some excuse like they gave me all along, Something about the bracket they made for the metal bumper didn't work out so they got to do it again and couldn't give Rachael a time when the van will be finished. They dont care about the people like myself who dont have a loner and these people cannot complete the job in a timley manner. I had a friend who had a simmiler type of accident infact a little worse where the frame was a little bent and they finished his suv withing three weeks. They take the money and do the job when they feel like doing the job.
So much lies deception, stories infact I called one day and Dana told me I had the wrong number so I called again and the number was inbosed on my cell face and I know I didn't dile the wrong number she said it was some Transmission shop. Then I called again asking for Sonny she said no one here by that name and hung up. If they dont return calls and lie about why the job cannot be completed and they already got 3,500.00 one lump sum then why coldn't theycomplete my van within a reasonable time. June 17 was the accident June 23 I took the van to the shop shortly their after when I called the insurance company to give them some money to start the job they got paid the entire sum and the work never got in a timley manner and the van is still not finished till this day.
They gave Rachael some sad excuse that the bracked couldn't hold the bumper on. I just wanted the angle iorn to be screwed with bolt and nut to the frame which was already to slap the angle iorn on. All the angle iorn needed is to be drilled with holes so the bolt could pass through the frame of the van and bolted from the back near the spair tire. The shop does do good work but too much lies and deception and not done in a timley manner. To many broken promisses. I was getting tired of the redrick and faulse hope.
Ended up being disgusted and hurt, upset, mad and just plain pissed off. I called the BBB and filed a complaint and called Action Line and now I am sending this out to you and hope someone will listen to my cry for help. Pissed to the Max. Sorry for some missed spelled words but if I try to correct them I will lose the words because the new words wil eat the words I do not want to erase. Hope you can make out what I am trying to say.
