Being young and irresponsible, I ended up with questionable credit. I needed a car so I let the dealers talk me into financing with CPS. After being 2 days late on a car payment. My friends, co-workers and, place of employment were called and harrassed before I was. Needless to say I paid the payment. I set up automatic payments as so this would not happen again.

These people sent a certified letter to my house stating that the payment did not go through and repossession was due to occur.in the meantime I have thousand of dollars just sitting in my account waiting to be debited. I hurried and paid using western union... But because I did not call to let them no this I continued to get harrassing calls (these people knew I worked at night). The most frightful message was from Ms Quatlebaum... Telling me that " If I know whats good for me I would not be driving that automobile". After the message she kept calling and hanging up on me.

As far as unfair debt collection practices I truly dont know the law, but I really do think that CPS uses the ignorance of he consumer to play nasty games. My friends are upset, my co-workers were just plain shocked at how nasty Ms Quattebaum and here cronies were. I feel stuck these people keep threatening me with repossession and wage garnishment for a payment of 1 day late or 3 days late. I really need help with this!!!
