We bought a car from Phil Gallo who owns Motor City in New Castle, PA. He seems like a nice guy and he will tell you repeatedly that he is. (This should of been our first clue since most nice, honest people don't have to tell you that they are.) While we were signing papers for the purchase of the car, he kept showing us stuff that he was selling on ebay to make money. (This should of been our second clue.) The car he sold us wasn't inspected and couldn't pass inspection plus the service engine light came on the day after we bought it.
When I called him and told him about the problems, he wanted us to bring him the car and he would take it to a mechanic and have them pass it for inspection, then when we got our extended warranty, we can take it to get it fixed. I let him know that was ILLEGAL! Since he's a sleazy conman, we are paying for all of the repairs ourselves.
He sold a Lexus to another person and the engine blew up within two weeks of buying it from him. Phil Gallo is a sleazy used car salesperson. DO NOT buy a car from him.
