I went there back in the fall of 2006 to trade my 2000 Land Rover for a what I thought was a nice 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The price seemed Right and the Trade values On Kbb seemed to match. So i talk to the dealer about making the trade and they agree to do a Even trade out right.
So i said ok, let me talk this over with my dad and show him the vehicle and see what he thinks. Well after getting a thumbs up from dad I went back the next day as agreed up on.
To do the Even Trade as agreed... I go in there and lo and behold they want an additional $1,500.00. His excuse was oh we just dont know about your car its not something that were familliar with fixing if we have to warranty it... I flat out told him that was a line of bull...
Then the guy did some calling suposedly to his boss so he says... Then he said he could make me a deal and I would only need to pay $600.00 and I could Finance it thru them... I said let me think about it. Hold your breath till I call.
I'm glad I didnt make the deal... I waited a month and got a Honest Deal at another dealer up in seymour, Hamptons auto! They gave me much friendlier service. And a Honest Deal!
Jefferys Auto Exchange is the Shadiest Dealer I have ever been to in my life.
