On May 31 I received a phone call from a representative of Great Cars and Trucks, named Sasha. She said she acquired my information from another site that I was selling my car on. She stated that she had several people pre-qualified to purchase my car and that she could sell it in 4-10 days and I could leave my ad up for 90 with a full refund after the 90 days if my car had not sold. I was fine with that and gave her my credit card for it to be charged for $159.00. I then received an eMail receipt with the total and then a form that stated that I had to pay to have a notary to verify that my car had not been sold so that I could get a refund. This was not disclosed to me prior to approving the purchase. I then looked at my credit card statement and saw that they had charged me $170.16 which is more than what I was verbally told and what my receipt says. When I called to get this fixed, everyone kept passing off on another person no one will help me get this rectified. I finally found out the corporate office phone number and called there. They said I had to speak with Chris Ashley.
I have called and left multiple messages with no return. I want a full refund for the $170.16 charged to my account. I have paperwork to back this up, as well as eMails from Sasha refusing to help me.
I spoke with the BBB and they said they have over 300 reports filed on these people. I'm not sure what it will take to put them in jail.
