Used Car Consumer Alert about TOYOTA CERTIFIED USED VEHICLES at MAGNUSSEN'S Toyota

I bought a Certified Used Vehicle from MAGNUSSEN"S AUBURN TOYOTA
owned by a Tony Toohe in the Sacramento, California area. Their
Parent Company Magnussen's Auto Dealership Group owned by Bernie
Magnussen is Based in Menlo Park, on the San Francisco Peninsula
California. I could not be more dissatisfied with my purchase of a Used Toyota Avalon.

The Certificate Claimed the vehicle had passed a rigorous 128 point inspection. The car LOOKED GREAT but beyond looks the vehicle had never been maintained nor was it capable of
passing anyones mechanical inspection. I was misslead by the
advertising that Toyota actualy stands behind their Used vehicle
program, unfortunately that is not the case. I spent more than ten months attempting to get work done that should have been done through the inspection process. Magnussen's Auburn Toyota RIPS YOU OFF

Putting your TRUST into a TOYOTA CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE from MAGNUSSEN'S AUBURN TOYOTA of Auburn, California could be a Big MISTAKE!!!

WE GOT SCREWED BY MAGNUSSEN'S AUBURN TOYOTA!!! Don't let it happen to you. Steer clear of a TOYOTA CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE. A Certification Check Sheet signed by the Service Manager Vic Corona of Magnussen's Auburn Toyota doesn't mean your vehicle actually Qualifies as a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle. We had our Toyota Certified twice and were refused a third attempt only to be forced into arbitration in an attempt to bring our Toyota up to the high standards claimed by TOYOTA MOTOR SALES, U.S.A., inc. And magnussen's auburn toyota. Is this how you want to be welcomed into the Toyota family?

Items unrepaired after certification

Brake rotors grooved, pads under 50%.
Wiper inserts scratched windshield.
Upper and Lower Engine Oil Leaks.
Leaking Rack and Pinion Steering Assembly.
Dirty Air Filter I replaced myself.
New front tires losing air daily.
MAGNA-SHIELD applied over dirty interior.
Previous maintenance records undisclosed.

Purchasing a TOYOTA CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE from MAGNUSSEN'S AUBURN TOYOTA is no guaranty your vehicle was ever maintained or passes Toyotas 128 point inspection!!! Don't let Bernie Magnussen and Tony Toohey treat you like they treated myself and my family.
