These guys are convenient - right down the road. Had a nail in my tire and wanted it fixed fast. Dropped it off during my lunch hour so that I could pick it up after work.
They even loaded it into my trunk for me. I paid my $20 and went home. I immediately went to install it upon arriving home. When taking it out of my trunk, it did not bounce when dropping it onto the concrete floor. I called Dobbs to ask if it was their proceedure to fill a tire after fixing it.
The suggested I bring it back. They were open until 8pm.
After waiting in the lobby for a couple minutes, one of the fellas brought my tire to me. He showed me that it was leaking at the bead and that it was unrepairable.
I asked if that could be caused by by their mounting/dismounting the tire.
"No. We see this kind of damage all the time." Came the response. They refused to acknowledge that they had ruined my tire.
So not only am I out a relatively good tire, but I had to pay them $20 for the privelege of ruining it.
