I'm at a loss on what to do next! Ripoff FLAGSTAFF Arizona

I've been with Wells Fargo Auto Finance for my past 2 vehicles and my current one. I did pay off the previous 2 and had no problems at all. This third vehicle I changed insurance companys back in June of '06. I did tell my old insurance I was leaving them and wanted it cancelled July 1,06. The two policy's overlapped by 2 weeks. I called Wells Fargo informed them and also had a declaration page sent to them with Wells Fargo's name in all the required fields. Then a month later I get a letter stating my lack of insurance. I call both my insurance company and Wells Fargo they both verify the correct deductible and coverages are there. Then in October of '06 I get a letter from Balboa stating that because of lack of proper insurance coverage my payment will increase from $523.25 to $748.30 and it was effective for my October payment. After reading through my contract, the letter from Balboa I call Wells Fargo back explain to them and get more clarification about the situation and to cover my tracks I spoke with someone from Balboa. Find out I have proper coverage on my vehicle and was told that they were just behind and that it will be fixed. I did pay the full amount of $748.30 for 3 months but still no change. I called Balboa and informed them again what was happening and they told me they did credit that and it was done back in October as well. I have stopped making the full payment of $748.30 and only make my original payment of $523.25 because no where does it show a credit from Balboa its been since last July since this problem occured and since October since my payment increase. I've tried to be patient and I keep getting harrasing calls saying I owe over $800 and they need $800 to catch me up. I keep telling them I want an audit done on my account and they say Balboa has not posted the credit yet. But I've had a really great customer service person from Balboa who has gone the extra mile and spoke with Wells Fargo twice on the phone with me on the other line. Once the Wells Fargo collector was rude and said it was not there problem but my responsibility to keep on my payments and give them the proper information. I'm just at a total loss. I have no idea where to go with this or who to goto. You get tired of running in circles so now I'm to the point where I don't even answer the phone calls from Wells Fargo. Please advise!
